A dead man was found in a car that was discovered floating in a canal at 4100 Wiles Road Tuesday, police said. The man’s identity has not been released.
A dead man was found in a car that was discovered floating in a Coconut Creek canal Tuesday, police said.
Police said they believed it was a one-vehicle crash that occurred in the canal at 4100 Wiles Road.
They are not sure when the crash occurred, but said they were called about it at about 9:15 a.m.
The car went through bushes, through a fence and into the water, evidence markers showed. Divers from several fire rescue departments responded before the man was found.
The man's identity has not been released.
