Fire Rescue workers responded after a car fell into a sinkhole in a McDonald's parking lot in Cooper City Thursday.
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the fast food eatery at Griffin Road and 100th Avenue, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said.
A grandmother and her 4-year-old grandson who were in the car weren't injured but their SUV had to be towed out of the hole.

The sinkhole was caused by a water main break, officials said. Crews were working to fix the break Thursday afternoon.
