Divers recovered the body of a person found floating in the waters near Lauderdale by The Sea early Friday morning.
Chopper 6 was over the scene just north of Commercial Boulevard in the Intercoastal Waterway around 6:30 a.m., taking the body to a nearby Broward Sheriff’s Office boat.
Police have not released any additional information about the finding, including the identity of the body found.
