Police in Southwest Miami-Dade are investigating after a body was found in a canal at Southwest 8th Street, near the Palmetto expressway.
According to police, they received a call about the body being found in the canal on Saturday afternoon.
When officials responded, they found that the person was dead.
Officials are now conducting a death investigation to figure out what happened.
