A Good Samaritan came to the rescue of auto body shop owner who was being attacked with a knife by a customer, police said Tuesday.
Workers near the All Florida Collision body shop in SW Miami-Dade had their day come turn upside down when police raced to the scene.
Police say a man, who came to this location where his car was being repaired, wasn't happy with the service.
"Somebody came in and I guess they were arguing with the management or owner and he pulled out a knife," said Oneil Delapenaj.
At this point its too soon to tell if its a targeted thing or just a dispute that escalated, Miami-Dade Police said.
Detectives questioned workers at the body shop to find out more about what happened. Police say the customer, identified as 45-year-old Freddy Saladriga, started fighting with the owner.
That customer produced a fire arm and shot the suspect in the lower extremity.
