A second arrest has been made in the July shooting death of a teenager in North Miami Beach, officials said.
The 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody without incident Wednesday during a traffic stop in Miami-Dade, North Miami Beach Police said.
He was charged with first-degree murder and attempted felony murder with a firearm. Zeke Powell, 18, was arrested shortly after the shooting and is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and attempted felony murder with a firearm.
Police say the body of 16-year-old Anthony Holley was found on July 19 in the area of Northeast 15th/16th Avenue and 175th/176th Street.
The murder is believed to have been motivated over a past residential burglary, police said.
