Two people were killed and two others were injured in a shooting in northwest Miami-Dade late Sunday night.
The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. outside an apartment complex at Northwest 20th Avenue and Northwest 62nd Street, Miami-Dade Police said.
Two men were killed at the scene, including 21-year-old Tyquavious Charles and a man in his 30s, whose identification is pending next of kin notification.
Another man, 27-year-old Ricky Hudson, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A woman was also hospitalized after she was grazed by a bullet, police said.
One woman said one of the victims was her cousin.
"It was my little cousin and we just don't know why, we don't know what happened," Lulu Williams said.
Witnesses said they heard several gunshots before officers arrived.
"Too many to count. Seriously, there were too many to count," Tia Sweeting said. "All I do is go to work and come home. I don’t even let my kids outside to play."
Several officers were at the scene early Monday as they investigated the shooting. No other information was immediately known.
