One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a North Miami Beach building Friday morning, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials.
The car slammed into a law office at 16211 NE 12th Ct. after losing control in a parking low across the street and driving through a bush.
A law office secretary who works in the building said the car crashed right into her desk, but she was in the back getting a file when it happened.
"When I walked outside I saw it was my desk, so I just got so nervous and sentimental and all that because I was like, "Oh my God, I could have been sitting there,'" Beatrice Rivera said. "Thank God he asked me to go get a file."
Attorney Bryant Filomeno said he could not believe his eyes when he saw the car fly through the wall.
"At that point, she left the room, luckily, and that's when the car entered the office," he said. "It was amazing because the car passed on my left and I just couldn't believe it. It was maybe two feet from me."

Filomeno said this is not the first time a car has plowed into that very wall.
"This happened about 15 years ago, the same exact thing," he said. "The accident happened, same building, the same way."
Officials did not immediately release further details on the crash.
Meanwhile, Rivera said friends and coworkers have told her she should go out and buy a lottery ticket with the luck she's had.
"Everybody's like, 'You're so lucky today,' and I'm like, 'Yep, I sure am,'" she said.
