A man has been arrested at Miami International Airport after airport security claims he was acting suspiciously while taking pictures inside the terminal and parking garages.
Oluwole Aboyade, 31, was charged with prowling and loitering after he was caught in the Dolphin parking garage at the airport with his camera on Jan. 11.
Police said the man was "very evasive" when they asked him who he was and what he was doing. That prompted cops to put the 'cuffs on Aboyade, who did not have an airline ticket or give a reason for being at the airport.
According to a business search, Aboyade owns a video production company in Miami, so catching him with a camera isn't necessarily an odd occurrence. Still, anything labeled as "suspicious" around an airport usually ends with the cops putting you in a tiny room for interrogation.
Police said the camera included pictures of surveillance cameras and other buildings at the airport. There were also pictures of other buildings in Miami-Dade County.
Aboyade also refused to answer questions after being read his Miranda rights. Cops later found out he had overstayed his work visa and was wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
According to his Facebook.com page, Aboyade appears to originally be from Nigeria.
