A fire ravaged Salty's Bar and Grill at the Seven Mile Marina in Marathon early Saturday morning.
Seven fire trucks responded to the scene just after 3 a.m. to put out the flames which had fully engulfed the restaurant. The fire was not completely put out until about 4 a.m., according to deputies.
Two boats, which had broken free of their moorings, and a car in the parking lot were also burned. Meanwhile, a heavy rain of embers was falling nearby the fire, according to deputies.
Monroe County Sheriff's deputies stopped north and southbound traffic on U.S. 1 for hours as fire crews responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
