Thirty years after "Footloose," Kevin Bacon proved he still has the moves during his appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Friday.
While introducing Bacon, Fallon proclaimed that dancing is outlawed on "The Tonight Show," reminiscent of the city's ban in the 1984 movie.
"Rules are rules, guys. No dancing!" Fallon said as the audience booed.
But Bacon wasn't having it.
"Dancing is illegal?" he said as he watched Fallon's announcement from his dressing room. "Jump back. This is 'The Tonight Show' there has to be dancing," he said.
Bacon, now 55 and star of drama TV show, "The Following," immediately popped in a cassette tape of the film's soundtrack song, "Never," and a complete reenactment of his solo dance scene ensued.
Bacon smoked a cigarette and drank from a bottle before throwing it against the wall, just as his character Ren McCormack did in the movie's iconic scene.

Bacon continued to dance through "The Tonight Show" hallways, but then a group of office workers caught him breaking the "no dancing" rule.
"I thought this was a party, lets dance!" Bacon told them, reciting a line from "Footloose."
The group followed Bacon to the "Tonight" stage, where Fallon declared that "Dancing is now legal on 'The Tonight Show,' thanks to Kevin Bacon," as confetti rained on them.
